American Silver Eagle coins were just six years old by the start of the 1990s, but by the time the 1991 coins were released the program had experienced its first stretch of continued growth. The number of coins minted in 1991 displayed a growth of more than 2 million coins in total from 1988, and the program was experiencing significant demand. The 1991 American Silver Eagle coin is available today from JM Bullion.

    Coin Highlights:

    • 1991 mintage totaled 7,702,991 coins in bullion and proof!
    • 6th annual release of the American Silver Eagle coin.
    • Ships to you in a protective flip, mint tubes of 20, or Monster Boxes of 500.
    • Protect your investment with 40.6mm Direct Fit Air-Tite Capsules or 40.6mm Air-Tite Coin Tubes, which hold 20 coins.
    • Contains 1 oz of .999 pure silver.
    • Issued a face value of $1 (USD) by the United States government.
    • Features the image of Walking Liberty on the obverse.
    • Reverse bears the image of the heraldic eagle of the United States.
    • Proof specimens have the San Francisco Mints S mint mark.

When the American Silver Eagle was introduced in 1986, it was met with great enthusiasm from investors and collectors alike. Production numbers were an impressive 6.8 million in the first year, and nearly doubled to 12.3 million the following year in 1987.

By 1991, the American Silver Eagle had finally grown again in popularity to surpass the introductory 1986 releases of the coin. Following the boom in 1987, the program dropped to 5.5 million, and grew steadily in each year from 1988 to 1991.

A total of 7.1 million bullion coins were struck in 1991, a figure which would not be matched again until 1999. The proof 1991 American Silver Eagle coin boasted a mintage of 511,925, which actually represented a steep decline from the mintage of 695,000 in 1990. One of the primary factors in the growth of the program at this time was the low price of silver, which averaged $4.05/ounce throughout 1991, hitting a low of $3.61 during the year.

On the obverse of all American Silver Eagle coins youll find the image of Walking Liberty, which represents how Liberty guides the nation toward a brighter tomorrow. The reverse of the coin honors the heraldic eagle, which is captured in beautiful, modern imagery by John Mercanti, Chief Engraver of the United States Mint from 1986 to 2010.

Depending on your method of payment, it is possible to have your order shipped to an address other than your billing address. If you pay with paper check, bank wire, ACH, Ethereum, Ripple, or bitcoin, you may have your order shipped wherever you please, with two exceptionsUPS locations and mail forwarding locations. You may choose how your order is shipped during the checkout process. In the last section of the checkout page, 4 Shipping Method, you will see the available shipping options for your order. If your purchase is eligible for free shipping, the pre-selected option will be base shipping, which is either USPS or UPS at our choice. If you would like to upgrade your shipping, you may choose one of the other options for a small fee. Simply click on the circle next to the shipping method you desire, and your order will be shipped via that method.

How long do I have to wait for my USPS tracking to update before you will file a claim?+

USPS does not consider a package lost or stolen until fifteen (15) days have passed since the last tracking update (excluding Sundays and federal holidays). In the unlikely event your tracking does not update by the fifteenth day, we will be allowed to initiate the claims process. Prior to that, all we can do is notify USPS of the situation.

If your tracking stops updating, please contact us within five (5) business days of the last tracking update so our Claims Department can contact USPS.

If my order includes an item on presale, will the in-stock items ship first?+

Unfortunately, due to the way insurance is applied to an order, everything must ship at the same time (i.e., in-stock items must await shipment until all presale items have arrived). Your order will ship in its entirety within 24-72 hours of our receiving the presale item. An email notification will be sent when your order ships.

Do you ship to US territories?+

We do not ship to US territories. Due to special requirements set by the postal systems, we are unable to ship outside of U.S. states.

What does “No Will Call” mean?+

All UPS shipments ship with a No Will Call restriction, meaning the package cannot be picked up from a UPS location. This is a precaution to prevent orders from being fraudulently intercepted.

UPS will make three delivery attempts. If nobody is available at the delivery address to sign and accept delivery, the package will be returned to us.

Where do you ship orders from?+

All orders will ship from our warehouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. We mask our return address on all packages as to not give away the contents of the package.

Do you offer UPS shipping to Alaska and Hawaii?+

No, we do not. The costs in shipping to these places is extremely prohibitive, so we utilize USPS on all shipments.

Do we ship to P.O. Boxes?+

Yes! When products are shipped via the United States Postal Service, we can ship to a P.O. Box. Please note that insurance on shipments to P.O. Boxes ends as soon as the package shows delivered.

No. UPS 3-Day Air service excludes shipments to UPS Stores, Mail Stores, as well as Alaska, Hawaii, APO addresses, and P.O. Boxes.

Is my package insured while in transit?+
