In the reverse design of the 2020 30 Gram Chinese Gold Panda Coin, a new image of the Giant Panda species is featured. The design on this field of the coin comes with a large depiction of a Giant Panda cub lying on its back as it reaches up with one paw to grab bamboo leaves while it clutches leaves in its other paw that it is munching on. The design for 2020 was created by Song Lina, a native of northeastern China.
All 2020 Chinese Gold Panda coins are a product of the Chinese Mint. As the coins never feature a mint mark, it is unknown whether the coins are produced by Beijing, Shanghai, Shenyang, or Shenzhen mint locations.
