The American Silver Eagle Coins from the United States Mint are traditionally issued by the West Point Mint. As of 2001, the production of BU, Proof, and Burnished versions of the coin is the responsibility of the West Point Mint. However, when demand increases and the mint’s capacity is stretched, the US Mint has turned to the San Francisco Mint. Amidst considerable demand in 2020, the Philadelphia Mint issued emergency releases of the coin, the first BU coins from Philadelphia since 2000. Right now, near-perfect 2021 (P) 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins are available to purchase online from JM Bullion.

Each 2021 (P) 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin available to you here comes with a near-perfect certification. Coins with a Mint State 69 certification exhibit full, original mint luster with no more than two minor detracting flaws. To qualify for the MS69 grade, a coin can only have minuscule contact marks or hairlines present and those flaws must be located outside the primary focal points.
The First Day of Issue label included in the slab is one that is not often issued to certified coins. In order to qualify for the FDOI label, the coins must be received by the PCGS within 24 hours of the US Mint’s release of the coins.
Walking Liberty features on the obverse side of 2021 (P) American Silver Eagle Coins. This design was created in 1916 and submitted to the US Mint for consideration in replacing the designs of the Barber Coinage. Created by Adolph A. Weinman, the image captures Liberty in left-profile relief as she walks toward the sun on the horizon. She holds out her right hand and carries the branches of oak and laurel in her left hand. The American flag is draped around her figure as she walks.
In the reverse design of 2021 (P) 1 oz Silver Eagle Coins, the heraldic eagle design appears for the final time. The heraldic eagle featured here was created in 1986 by John Mercanti. The most recent update to the image, the design features a bald eagle in front-facing relief as it supports the US national shield. The eagle clutches the arrows of war and the olive branch of peace in its talons, and the banner in its beak reads “E Pluribus Unum.”
