The American Silver Eagle is, without question, the world’s most popular silver coin. Offered by the United States Mint on an annual basis since 1986 with the same designs of Walking Liberty and the Heraldic Eagle on the obverse and reverse. 2021 marks the first time ever that the US Mint has changed a design element, and it also marks the first time the series will have two versions released in one year. The early issues of 2021 Silver Eagles still have the original design combinations before a midyear change to the new reverse. Right now, 2021 (S) 1 oz American Silver Eagles in near-perfect condition are available to purchase online from JM Bullion.

Each 2021 (S) 1 oz American Silver Eagle available in this JM Bullion listing comes with a near-perfect certification. A coin in Mint State 69 condition exhibits full, original mint luster and a maximum of two minor detracting flaws. Examples of acceptable flaws at this grade level include only minuscule contact marks or hairlines that are located outside the primary focal points of the coin.
The included Early Release designation assigned to this coin identifies the timing of its arrival for grading. The NGC assigns this label to coins that it receives within the first 30 days following the initial release date from the mint.
Walking Liberty features on the obverse side of 2021 (S) 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins. The image of Liberty found here captures her in left-profile relief as she walks toward the sun on the horizon carrying branches of oak and laurel in her left hand and has the American flag draped around her figure.
For the final time in the series, the heraldic eagle of the United States features on the reverse face of 2021 (S) Silver Eagle Coins. This image was modified for this series in 1986 by John Mercanti and is based on the original 1792 design created for the US Mint and the federal government by Robert Scot, the 1st Chief Engraver of the United States Mint.
These particular 2021 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins are a product of the San Francisco Mint. With surging demand each year over the last decade, the US Mint has turned to the San Francisco Mint to supplement the coining capacity of the West Point Mint by providing additional batches of BU Silver Eagles. The coins do not have a mint mark.
